1 - Check that the R/3 System is up.

2 - Check that daily backups executed without errors.

3 - Check that all application servers are up.

4 - Check the CCMS alert monitor (4.0+).

5 - Check work processes (started from SM51).

6 - Look for any failed updates (update terminates).

7 - Check System Log

8 - Review for cancelled and critical jobs

9 - Check for “old” locks

10 - Check users on system

11 - Check for spool problems

12 - Check job log

13 - Check work processes

14 - Review and resolve dumps.

15 - Review workload statistics.

16 - Review error log for problems.

17 - Review WINDOWS system logs for problems.
18 - Review NT system logs for problems.

19 - Check the uninterruptible power source (UPS).
